>>> In that vein, that’s probably the biggest reason why people want to skip the process – it requires too much “work” and they don’t want to put that kind of work into it.
Yes, I agree with this. The other reason might be, that someone is interested on the end result only. Do you think there is something inherently wrong on that?

Brian,
I just found your blog/site. You are a great writer and I am sure you have helped many many people. I would like to write about you if you will accept the badge from me, found on my site. It is a DIG YOUR JOB badge — no question you really do help people DIG THEIR JOBS.

Brian, I just read this after reading another MIT, and recently I quit my job and am going to be working on this in order to really do what I love….I actually loved my job, at least the work, and helping people, I just was treated like total crap by the boss….so after I go through this exercise, if my passion happens to be in my same line of work, I will open my own business…even though i have a non compete…it won’t matter,.. I love your articles, I look forward to the mit’s and they seem to speak to me every day….I get my last paycheck…oh how scary, on the 15th and am going to buy both books and start on them. thank you so much for this…i really appreciate it…

Hi Divine,
Thanks for dropping by and sharing your story.
I applaud you for taking that first big step that most people will never do out of fear.
I hope you find what it is you’re looking for and that you pursue it with everything you’ve got. I hope the articles, MITs, and books will be able to help you in that regard.
I also recently wrote an article that I think will help you cope with any fear you may be feeling as the 15th draws closer.

Here’s to the new journey that awaits - may it be everything you imagined it to be and more.

Improve and gl,
So sorry I missed your comments. It’s hard to keep track of all of them.
Improve,
There’s nothing inherently wrong with that. It’s just important to remember that focusing on the process will get them there.
gl,
Please feel free to write about me if you want. The more people that know about this site, the better.
